Marketing and Events Coordinator

Department: 573 4AIR Marketing
Location: Cleveland, OH

The Marketing & Events Coordinator will be responsible for all event marketing initiatives for the 4AIR brand to increase awareness and generate new customer leads at local, national, and international events. This position will manage all aspects to support the team’s attendance and company’s presence at multi-scale events.

LOCATION: Cleveland, OH (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing an event calendar of more than 40 events per year and overseeing the full life cycle of the events from initial conception to completion.
• Managing the full event process and strategy to support the company’s presence at events each year, from local golf tournaments to international tradeshows and brand-partnered events, including designing the company’s presence at a given event, negotiating and selecting sponsorships, curating giveaways, overseeing booth design, maintaining event collateral, and facilitating team support, registrations, forms, etc.
• Researching industry-related events and providing recommendations to the event calendar.

• Managing and maintaining the approved budget.

• Report to management on success of each event, by measuring leads and cost of attendance.
• Assisting in resource allocation between various events, as well as working with the shipping department and team to plan and organize where company collateral and materials will be sent to support various events.
• Responsible for maintaining all required registrations, forms and deadlines.
• Planning new webinars and events that the company will host to entertain new or existing customers.
• Review and recommend sponsorship packages, speaking opportunities or attendance for various potential events.
• Working with the in-organization design team on graphics, event ideas and press announcements around events.
• Overseeing external vendors for AV, booth design, product giveaways and other design support as needed.
• Managing the full marketing plan of events, including the development of event-supporting collateral and giveaways, email and social media promotion and press announcements.
• Responsibilities for timely and relevant follow-up communication, with a variety of audiences, including existing program managers and event partners.
• May be responsible for social media, including working with personnel and agencies to draft content for Instagram and LinkedIn, approving posts and monitoring the accounts for engagement opportunities.
• Managing graphic design requests either through in-organization personnel or vendors, including the identification of third-party vendors to use.
• Responsible for staying on top of emerging trends and regulations around environmental marketing to ensure all event and marketing communications are compliant.
• Other responsibilities as may be necessary.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
• 2-5 plus years’ experience in a corporate environment focusing on event management, marketing, and communications with previous multi-medium strategy development and execution experience

• Project management experience

• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or related work experience

• Thorough understanding of what makes a company’s presence at an event successful, ability to manage event production and be available around the event for as-needed support.

• Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, employees, other departments, and vendors

• Ability to accept feedback and work collaboratively as part of a team while still advocating a clear creative vision.

• Ability to meet deadlines, must be comfortable prioritizing tasks, demonstrate flexibility, display a strong work ethic, fanatical attention to detail, and sense of urgency.

• Innovative and creative thinker; proactively identifies opportunities; motivated by challenge, change and opportunity to help look at things differently.

• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a small team semi-remote environment.

• Ability to be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
• 35% travel is expected.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Working knowledge of the sustainability industry, including carbon offsets, sustainable fuels, and new technology.

• Working knowledge of rules and guidelines around environmental marketing.

• Previous experience servicing high-profile customers for luxury goods or previous experience in communicating sustainability initiatives.

• Working knowledge of business aircraft industry, products, and services.
